MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
2 1/2 qts. popped corn (about 2 air poppers)
1/4 c. syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Pop corn and put in large brown paper bag. Combine in a bowl syrup, brown sugar, butter and salt. Stir, microwave on High 4 minutes. Add soda and vanilla, stir, microwave 2 minutes on High. Pour over popcorn in bag, stir, fold bag down and microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes. Shake, microwave another 1 1/2 minutes on High, shaking every 30 seconds.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
