MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. nuts (opt.)
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light or dark syrup
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raw popcorn, popped in 2 batches
Lg. grocery bag sprayed well with vegetable spray

In saucepan heat together brown sugar, syrup, butter and salt. Boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Stir in baking soda and pour over popcorn. Stir until well coated. Pour in nuts. Place popcorn in bag and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Shake. Microwave 2 more minutes. Shake. Microwave 30 seconds. Shake. Microwave 30 more seconds and shake. Cool on wax paper. Use caution, the bag gets hot!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
