MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 lg. onion
4 hot chili peppers, cut up
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
1 can cream style corn
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. baking soda

Brown ground beef in iron skillet. Cut up onion, peppers, and grated cheese. Mix with ground beef. Beat the eggs and add the other ingredients to form the cornbread mixture. In a heavy skillet, put a layer of cornbread mixture, then place the hamburger mixture. Pour the remaining cornbread mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
