FROSTED SALAD 
2 pkg. (3 oz.) lemon Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. clear carbonated beverage
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. miniature marshmallows
2 lg. bananas, sliced

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Stir in beverage. Chill until partly set. Drain pineapple, saving juice for topping. Fold in pineapple, marshmallows and bananas into gelatin. Pour into mold or dish. Chill until firm.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. pineapple juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. cream, whipped
Grated cheese

Cook sugar, flour, pineapple juice and egg until thick. Add butter. Whip cream and fold in. Spread on gelatin. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
