APPLE GOODIE 
7 c. chopped apples
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour

PART TWO:

1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. melted shortening

Place ingredients of Part One in greased baking dish. Mix all of Part Two ingredients together until crunchy. Put on top of Part One and pat down.

Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven.

This is similar to apple crisp, but more crust and tastes better.
