CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs

Measure sugar and flour into a large mixing bowl, set aside. Place butter, Crisco, water, and cocoa in a pan. Bring to a boil, then cool. Pour this mixture over the flour and sugar and mix. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla, and eggs. Bake in a 9x12 inch pan (that has been greased and floured) at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

ICING:

1 box confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts

Heat butter, cocoa, milk, vanilla, and marshmallows until marshmallows have dissolved. Add sugar and nuts and blend well. Spread on warm cake.
