ITALIAN MEATBALLS 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
1 egg
1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce

Combine beef, sausage, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, green onion, egg, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix well. Form into 2 inch balls. Arrange in a ring on microwave roasting rack. Cook on 80, 5 to 6 minutes.

Turn meatballs on serving platter. Cover with aluminum foil and set aside. Pour drippings into 2 cup glass measure. Add tomato sauce. Cook on High, 1 1/2 minutes, or until hot. Pour over meatballs. Serve with garlic bread and your favorite pasta. 12 meatballs.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
