APPLE PIE DELUXE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. all purpose flour (sift before measuring)

For crumb topping, cream butter and brown sugar together. Cut in flour. Put in refrigerator. 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter Pastry to line 11"x7" Pyrex dish

Cut apples in eighths and arrange in pastry covered dish. Mix sugar and cinnamon together, sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Cover with crumb topping. Bake in 400 degree preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
