CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices bread, remove crust
4 c. milk
8 eggs
1 lb. shredded cheese
1 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. onion
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
Pepper

In buttered 9 x 13 inch pan, layer slices of bread and cheese, ending with cheese on top (2 layers). Beat eggs; add milk, mustard, onion, salt, and pepper. Pour over cheese and bread layers. Pat with butter. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

This recipe is excellent for overnight company's breakfast.
