CHEESE OMELETTE STRATA 
12 slices white sandwich bread (torn into bite size pieces)
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
1/2 c. butter, melted
6 eggs, beaten
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard

Evenly distribute bread pieces on bottom of 9x13 baking pan. Follow with layer of grated cheese, and top with layer of chilies. Then pour melted butter over bread, cheese, and chilies.

Next, mix eggs, milk, and mustard together. Pour over above mixture, pushing bread down to cover. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

A few minutes before cooking, remove from refrigerator and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
