CABBAGE & APPLES 
1 med. head of cabbage
2 sour apples, peeled & cut
1/2 onion
1 tbsp. caraway seeds
2 slices bacon, cut up
2 tsp. salt
Paprika

Cut cabbage fine; soak 10 minutes in salt water; drain. Saute bacon; add cabbage, apples, caraway seed (to taste), paprika, onion and salt. Cover very tightly and cook slowly to desired tenderness. Makes 6 servings.
