SWEET SOUR PORK | |
Sm. roast or fresh butt cut in chunks or 1 1/2 lb. leftover pork 1/2 c. water 1/3 c. vinegar 1/4 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. corn starch 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (#2 can) pineapple chunks 1 med. green pepper (sliced thin or in squares) 2 med. onions (sliced) Brown meat lightly in melted fat. Combine water, sugar, vinegar, corn starch, salt, 1 cup pineapple juice drained from chunks. Cook in pan until clear and slightly thickened. Add pineapple, pepper, onions and cook 2 minutes or longer, serve with rice. |
