BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. meaty spareribs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. hot fat
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. tomato juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/8 tsp. chili powder

Brown onion in hot fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Place spareribs in casserole, pour sauce over and cover. Bake two hours at 350 degrees until tender. Baste ribs with sauce occasionally.
