TOFFEE BROWNIE BARS 
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg yolk
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour

FILLING:

1 pkg. Duncan Hines chewy fudge brownie mix (family size)
1 egg
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. oil

TOPPING:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, melted
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan.

CRUST: Combine 3/4 cup butter, brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour. Spread in pan. Bake 15 minutes.

FILLING: Prepare brownie mix as per package directions. Spread on hot crust. Bake 15 minutes.

TOPPING: Spread melted chocolate chips on brownie layer and garnish with pecans. Serves 24.
