TURTLE BROWNIE BARS | |
14 oz. caramels 2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided 1 pkg. German chocolate cake 3/4 c. butter, softened 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in microwave. Set aside. Mix cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, mix until ingredients are moistened. Spoon 1/2 mixture into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread caramel mixture on top of chips and spoon remaining cake mix over all. Bake 12-18 minutes longer at 350 degrees until puffed and edges start to leave sides of pan. |
