CINDY'S CAJUN DIRTY RICE
This dish is gone in less than 1/2 hour when taken to family or business functions with people looking for more!

2 lb. ground beef
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped (optional)
butter or oil for sauté
1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 oz.) can french onion soup
1 1/2 cans water (use empty soup can)
2 tbsp. Tony's Chacheres Cajun seasoning, or to taste
garlic powder, to taste
1 tsp. salt
2 cups instant rice (can use up to 3 cups instant rice)

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Sauté bell pepper and garlic (in a little butter or oil). Add ground beef, cook until browned, drain grease.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all soups, water, seasonings and rice, mix well. Add cooked meat and mix well again. Mixture should be just a little watery, not too watery and not too thick. Pour into 13x9-inch greased casserole dish (or deep aluminum pan). Cover tightly with tin foil.

Bake in 400°F oven for 1 hour. Remove, let it sit (covered) for about 10 minutes before serving with salad and french bread (we usually have green beans on the side too).
