APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. applesauce 1/3 c. vegetable oil 2 eggs 3 tbsp. milk 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. pecans 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon FOR 2 LOAVES 2 c. sugar 2 c. applesauce 2/3 c. vegetable oil 4 eggs 1/3 c. milk 1 qt. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. pecans 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon FOR 3 LOAVES 3 c. sugar 3 c. applesauce 1 c. vegetable oil 6 eggs 1/2 c. milk 1 qt. and 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. nutmeg 3 c. pecans 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Combine first 5 ingredients. Beat 1 minute at medium. Combine next 6 ingredients. Add gradually to applesauce mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans. Grease and flour loaf pans. Spoon in batter. Combine 1/4 cup pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cover loosely with foil. Beat 40 more minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. |
