1 c. butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar 2 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. salt 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped pecans In large bowl at medium speed cream butter, add salt and vanilla. Beat in sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, mix until well combined. Stir in chocolate and pecans. Pat dough into a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly brown at edges. Cool in pan on wire rack. When cool, break with hands into pieces. Yield: 5 dozen. |
