ONION SOUP II 
1 lg. onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 (13 oz.) can beef broth
2 c. water

In 2 quart saucepan.

1. Melt butter. Cook onions until clear.

2. Add flour and sugar. Stir 3 minutes.

3. Add beef broth and water. Simmer 35-40 minutes, uncovered.

4. Add to crocks and add cheese and toast. Bake 5-10 minutes at 400 degrees.

Can be served from stove to bowls and sprinkled with cheese (Parmesan cheese). Makes 4 servings.
