HURRICANE CREEK POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/3 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
5 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Add milk all at one time. Add flour a little at a time, beating well. Add vanilla and lemon. Pour into 10 inch tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake 2 hours and 15 minutes at 300 degrees.
