STUFFED MEAT ROLL 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. fresh ground pork
1 1/4 tsp. salt
3/8 tsp. pepper
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
3 c. bread cubes, 6 slices
1/4 tsp. thyme or sage

Combine meats, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and soup. Turn onto waxed paper. Pat into 14 x 9 inch rectangle. Cook onion in butter; add to egg with remaining ingredients; mix. Spread over meat; roll lengthwise. Bake 1 hour at 350 degree in shallow pan. Garnish with spiced crab apple. Serves 6-8.
