GERMAN RAW APPLE CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
2 c. raw diced apples

Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs and mix. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, and soda and add. Add sour milk and apples. Put in angel food cake pan, then add topping: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
