RHUBARB BARS 
3 c. rhubarb
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat rhubarb and 1 1/2 cups sugar. When it boils add cornstarch dissolved in water. Boil until thick. Add vanilla; cool. Blend remaining ingredients well. Press 3/4 mixture in greased 9"x13" pan. Spread rhubarb mixture on top then remaining crumbs. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
