1 lg. head cabbage, shredded 1 bell pepper, sliced or chopped 1 med. onion, sliced 1 sm. can pimentos, chopped 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed 3/4 c. white vinegar 1/2 c. Wesson oil Layer cabbage, peppers, and onion. Bring to boil sugar, salt, celery seed, vinegar and oil. Pour over layered ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Add pimentos at serving time. Very good and keeps well. |
