1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 whole eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
small amount black pepper

Mix all ingredients together. Cook in double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from pan. Add 2 teaspoons of prepared mustard. Pour over potato salad while both potatoes and dressing are hot. Mix well. If more dressing is needed, add more Miracle Whip.
