THICK HAMBURGER SOUP 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped

Brown meat add onions and garlic. Drain fat and water off meat. Add 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans (don't drain), 2 cups carrots, sliced, 2 cups celery, sliced, 1/2 cup raw rice, 1 1/2 quarts (6 cups) whole tomatoes, 7 cups water, 5 beef bouillon cubes, 2 tablespoon parsley flakes, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon basil. Mix. Simmer 1 hour or cook all day long to blend. Flavors, really great on second or third day.
