ELEPHANT EARS 
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 c. sour cream
1 c. melted butter
4 c. flour
2 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Beat eggs; add vanilla, salt and dissolved yeast. Mix in the 2 cups of the flour. Then add the sour cream and melted butter. Beat in the remaining 2 cups of the flour. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to 2 cays.

Divide dough in half. Roll each half out into a rectangle. Spread with butter and cinnamon sugar. Then roll up as a jelly roll 9 inches long. Cut each roll into 1/2 inch pieces and roll each piece out thin. Sprinkle on top the mixture of 2 cups sugar and 1 tbsp. cinnamon. Bake right away on greased cookie sheets at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
