PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. beef round steak or deer meat, cut 1/2 inch thick
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 c. (8 oz.) tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 sm. clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 lg. green peppers
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Partially freeze meat and cut in strips 3 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. In large skillet, brown meat strips in hot Crisco, drain off excess fat. Add tomatoes, the water, bell peppers, onions, garlic, salt, and pepper to meat in skillet.
