BAKED APPLE 
1 lg. cooking apple
1 tsp. raisins
1 tsp. dried dates or figs, chopped
1 tsp. nuts, chopped
Pinch of cinnamon

Heat oven to 400 F.

Wash the apple. Core, leaving 1/4 inch at the bottom to hold the filling. In a mixing bowl, combine the raisins, dates and nuts. Fill the apple center with the mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Wrap the apple in foil. Place in a shallow baking dish and add 2 tablespoons water. Bake for about 30 minutes or until soft. Can cook in microwave safe container on high for 8-10 minutes. Serves 1. Per serving: 106 calories.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
