STROMBOLI | |
1 loaf French bread dough, thawed 1 beaten egg white 1/4 lb. pepperoni, ham, cooked sausage, mushrooms, etc. 6 oz. Mozzarella (3 oz. each) Cut loaf in half. Roll each half out to 6 x 10 inch on floured surface. Brush top with egg white. Sprinkle lightly with oregano and garlic powder. Place pepperoni, Mozzarella, etc. Roll long side as a jelly roll. Seal all edges by pinching dough together so cheese doesn't ooze. Lay stromboli sealed edge down on greased cookie sheet. Brush top with egg white and sprinkle with parsley. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Makes 2 loaves. |
