FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 can fruit cocktail
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt together. Add fruit cocktail including the juice and beaten egg. Put in a 9x13 pan. Cover with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
