FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift together. Add: 1/2 tsp. almond extract 1 (#303) can fruit cocktail, less 2 tbsp. juice

Mix above ingredients. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts. Bake 45-55 minutes at 325 degrees. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream, if desired.
