ORANGE MARMALADE 
6 med. size oranges
1/2 c. lemon juice
9 1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. pectin
6 c. water

Cut oranges into very thin slices. Remove seeds. Discard end pieces of peel. Mix fruit, lemon juice, sugar, pectin and water in a 6-8 quart kettle. Bring to a fast boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour or until peel is tender. Measure mixture, adding more water if necessary, to equal 7 cups. Cook and stir the marmalade for 5 minutes. Pour into 8 ounce jars. Seal and shake jars gently several times to distribute peel. Makes 11 (8 ounce) servings.
