BAKED LIMA BEANS 
Soak 1 pound butter lima beans in cold water overnight. Next morning cook until done but not mushy. Add salt to taste. Drain. Put a few slices of bacon in a long baking pan, pour beans over bacon and cover with this sauce.

Cut up bacon in small pieces in a frying pan, add 2 medium onions, diced. Cook over slow heat until onion is clear. Do not brown. Then stir in 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 pint tomato juice and some catsup to taste. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
