GRAVY BAKED PORK CHOPS 
4 lean pork chops, 1/2 or 3/4 inch thick
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. hot shortening
1 can cream chicken soup
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. water

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Brown in 10 inch skillet in hot shortening. Pour the mixture of soup, milk, and water over chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
