SCALLOPED POTATOES, SAUSAGE AND
CABBAGE
 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/4 c. water
4 med. potatoes, sliced thin
1 med. onion, sliced thin
2 c. shredded cabbage
8 oz. Kielbasa, sliced thin

In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk and water, stirring constantly over medium heat until thick. In greased 3 quart casserole, layer 1/3 potatoes, 1/2 onion, 1/2 cabbage, 1/2 sausage and 1/3 sauce. Repeat. Top with remaining potatoes and sauce. Cover; bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Uncover; bake 45-50 minutes more until potatoes are tender. Makes 4 servings.
