1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
3 beaten eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nutmeats

Mix together all ingredients. Make into 3 rolls and refrigerate overnight or until firm. Slice and bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
