1 c. butter 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir in flour and salt until well blended. Mix in nuts. Chill dough about 30 minutes. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not brown. While still warm confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. (If you freeze these, wait to roll in sugar the second time when you're ready to use them). |
