RUSSIAN TEACAKES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans Mix first 3 thoroughly. Stir flour and salt together. Add to first mixture. Blend. Mix in nuts. Chill. Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake at 400 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes - until set but NOT brown. While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Roll in sugar a second time. |
