LULA'S PEANUT BRITTLE 
2 c. raw peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark or light Karo syrup
1/4 c. water
Pinch of salt

Mix and cook until a hard ball is formed in water or until peanuts are cooked. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda and stir fast, pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Break into pieces when cool.
