BANANA NUT BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. mashed bananas
1/4 c. melted butter

Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt together. Stir in nuts. Beat egg. Add sugar and beat until light and creamy. Stir vinegar in milk. Add milk, banana and butter to egg mixture. Stir liquid ingredients into flour mixture until moistened. Pour into buttered loaf pan. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees. Allow to cool. Store 24 hours before slicing.
