KING RANCH CHICKEN 
1 (3 lb.) chicken
Water
1 lg. bell pepper
1 (8 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (8 oz.) Monterey Jack cheese with Jalapenos, shredded
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1 med. bag Doritos Nacho Cheese Chips
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste, 1/4 cup water makes a better broth
1 lg. onion, chopped

Place chicken in enough water to cover, add salt, pepper and garlic powder and boil until very tender. Cool, then remove chicken from bone. Crush chips in a 9 x 13 inch pan and cover with broth letting the chips completely absorb the liquid. Spread the chicken over chips, then spread Cream of Chicken soup next, add onion and bell pepper over this. Combine cheeses and spread on top of rest making this the last layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese bubbles around edges.
