1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream shortening and sugar and salt. Beat in eggs. Add flavoring. Add raisins (which have been ground). Add nuts. Add baking powder with the flour. Make small balls; press down with a fork. Bake at 375 degrees.
