COCONUT CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow or lemon cake mix (no pudding in mix)
1 c. coconut
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Water
1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip
Coconut

Make cake according to package. Add 1 cup of coconut. When cake is done, prick hot cake with fork all over (make lots of holes). Pour the following mixture over the cake: 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring, 1/2 cup powdered sugar; mix well and add enough water to this to make 1 1/2 cups in all. After pouring the mixture over the cake, let it cool. Spread Cool Whip over cake and sprinkle with coconut.
