DUMP CAKE 
1 (21 oz.) can apple, cherry, strawberry or blueberry pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 box yellow, white or lemon cake mix
1 stick butter, cut in pieces
3/4 c. to 1 c. coconut
3/4 to 1 c. chopped nuts

Butter a 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread pie filling evenly in bottom of pan, cover with a layer of pineapple and juice. Spread cake mixture. Dot with butter, sprinkle with coconut and nuts (no added liquid called for). Bake 30 minutes in preheated oven at 350 degrees.
