SMOKIES WITH CARAWAY KRAUT | |
3 c. coarsely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp. melted butter 16 oz. can sauerkraut (washed and drained) 1 c. water 1 tbsp. paprika 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. caraway seeds 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. smoked sausage links, cut diagonally Saute onions and garlic in butter. Add remaining ingredients except sausage; cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add sausage. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. |
