POLISH SPARERIBS WITH CARAWAY
AND KRAUT
 
3 lbs. ribs, cut in serving pieces
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 unpared apple, chopped
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. caraway seeds

Put ribs in 9"x13"x2" pan. Add salt and pepper. Combine rest of ingredients. Do not drain kraut. Pour or spread in and around ribs. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Baste during last hour of cooking. Serves 6.
