MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. tomato juice
3/4 c. water

Combine hamburger and onion. Beat egg lightly and add. Add milk and pour over meat; mix. Add cornmeal, chili powder, mustard and salt. Roll in flour and brown in 1/4 cup fat. When browned, sprinkle remaining flour over meatballs. Pour tomato juice and water over them. Cover tightly. Cook in low oven or on low heat on top of stove until done.
