HOT CRANBERRY PUNCH 
1 tea bag
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cranberry juice cocktail
3 c. apple cider or unsweetened apple juice
1 cinnamon stick, cracked
4 whole cloves
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 strip orange peel, about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide
4 thin orange slices (optional)
4 cinnamon sticks (optional)

1. Place tea bag in a mug, add the boiling water and steep for 5 minutes.

2. In a small saucepan (preferably non-metallic) place cranberry juice cocktail, cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice and orange peel; bring to a boil over moderately high heat. Lower heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add tea, discarding tea bag.

3. Strain punch into 4 mugs; garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks. Serves 4.
