MAXINE'S STRAWBERRY LUSH | |
1 c. flour 3/4 c. chopped nuts, fine 3/4 stick butter, softened Mix all together. Pat out in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown. Let cool. FILLING NO. 1: 1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. powdered sugar Mix all together, spread on cooled crust. FILLING NO. 2: 2 sm. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding 3 c. cold milk Beat until smooth. Spread over filling number 1. TOPPING NO. 1: 3/4 c. sugar 2 boxes strawberry Jello 1 (12 oz.) can 7-Up 2 tbsp. cornstarch 4 c. strawberries Mix sugar, cornstarch and 12 ounce 7-Up. Cook until thick. Mix in Jello. Add sliced strawberries. Let cool. Spread over filling number 2. Then spread 1 (8 ounce) tub Cool Whip over strawberry topping. Garnish with whole fresh strawberries. |
